Inca Silver previous release, 'Electric Summer' is a combination of pop-electronica and ethereal soulful lyrics. Groovy and edgy at the same time, The Inca Silver project blends elements of electronica, indie, and trip hop in a manner that is cohesive and distinct. Reminiscent of artists such as Sneakerpimps, Mazzy Star, Portishead, Zero 7, and Dandy Warhols, we’ve combined the “old†with the “new†to develop a cutting edge sound. Inca Silver’s diversity makes us a sure fire band for publishing and studio work as well as live performance and touring.
Thia is a soulful songwriter and singer. Her musical career began in high school under supervision of a highly distinguished music teacher, and continued to develop in college with instruction and training by a professional opera singer. She’s been in numerous bands and written hundreds of songs. Thia’s vocals are silky soft and soulful, with a bite to them in just the right places. Her elegance and sexy manner onstage create a dynamic presence that draws one in. Names that come to mind in comparing her to other artists are: Dido, Jem, Sade, and Hope Sandoval.
Evan Bautista "The Metronome†drummer, is also a writer and producer. Evan Bautista discovered his passion for the drums at age 11. Listening to popular records, Evan played along to them, absorbing the beats he heard. Joining the popular SF bay area punk rockers band ‘Stunt Monkey’ at age 16, Evan was blessed to travel high and low as the band toured across the United States. Stunt monkey opened for Run DMC, toured with Less Than Jake, and was a part of the 2005 WARP Tour. Their most popular radio singles were ‘Your Mom’s Hot’ and ‘My Girlfriend likes Girls’.
