Den Kozlov and Sasha Gravrilov
denkozlov_sashaDen Kozlov and Sasha Gravrilov are a London-Moscow collaboration between two Russian-born musicians. 10 years after first meeting, they have created the full-length album "Do You Sea What I See" featuring 11 elegantly melodic tracks drawing upon trance, breaks, downtempo and ambient concepts.

Both born and raised in the Russian capital, Den and Sasha were on the pulse of growing electronic music since it took over Moscow in the early 90's. Den was one of the pioneers of Russian electronic music scene with his techno project In'R'Voice, and by 1995 was awarded by russian Ministry of Culture as a winner of awards for innovations in music.

Den and Sasha met in London in 1999 when Den was managing Resonoise Records - first Russian trance label in London. After spending years in studios both in London and in Moscow, Den and Sasha decided to make a record together.  "Do You Sea What I See" was finished by the middle 2009 - exactly 10 years after they met. The idea behind the album was quite simple: to make the most beautiful record they are able to. Sasha composed his melodies from the scratch on guitar, and Den built electronic sound around Sasha's simple and elegant melodies.

Their studio work experience together and true friendship made this record possible in an impossible situation: while recording the album they were in different cities - Den in London and Sasha in Moscow...The whole album was recorded via the internet! It took long hours of Skype sessions, transfering back and forth huge ableton live files through Rapidshare, and the most difficult part - building two identical hardware studios in both countries for the time the record being made...

Den Kozlov and Sasha Gavrilov's album "Do You Sea What I See" is about an emotional depth of music, which can be compared with a depth of the sea, and also about an ability of two people to see and feel the same in their world of electronic music, to which they both completely commited. They both stand by the idea, that electronic music is not only about dry club sound, but it also can be as beautiful as true art can be. Don't miss this amazing album, which is being released at the beginning of 2010 by a New York's major record label System Recordings.
